tea review: yogi tea
after digging on sunday charlie got mad on fancy teas, so i jumped in the boat and went to our cupboard and found loads of stuff. so here is review one.
this stuff claims to be licorice tea, but then it says its got loads of spices in it and maybe no roots?
this asks for an epic 7 minutes brew time. non practical but i listen to packets so….
the stuff looks pretty mad brutal. but whatever.
done… so here is the lowdown. good marks for the name, yogi is cool. the smell [aroma] is pretty strong smelling like licorice and sweet spices. but not in a totally bad way. it tastes similar to licorice but not exactly the same, the tastes it good, tastes a bit like christmas food, tiny hints of mince pie. however when drinking it kinda sticks to the roof of your mouth, in a slightly unpleasant way. but it was the first thing i drank today so that might be related. overall the sweetness is totally good in sweet terms. sweeter than Jessica Alba in SinCity. but the best part is that it isnt sickly at all.
overall this is a rad tea, especially in the winter. would totally suit a crappy rainy day either pre or apres digging.
do
one day when i’m really rich it is my dream to have a kitchen with every additional electric appliance available. this is right up the top of this list with “Chef Tony’s My Rotisserie” [look that up].
