deluxe bmx
Say hello to deluxe bmx. this is a new trails frame and parts company from Mark [Noble]. I finished the site over the weekend and it is live and definitely worth checking out. click for deluxebmx.com
Above I’m holding one of the prototype frames, there are 4 at the moment. Davros from Barend rides one, Frog from Loughborough rides one, Louis from Aversion rides one, and so does Mark. They look amazing, they are light and fast. They are designed for trails. All in all I’m stoked on the brand and what it is about. I recommend clicking here and reading the FAQ to learn what its all about. I have a feeling that if you come on this site, then you will also like it.

I’ve had a proper summer trails long weekend, it was amazing. Getting up late, chilling in the sun, pushing up after some enjoyable tea drinking, trails til’ dusk, then random crappy action films til’ late and bed and repeat. It’s felt like quite a long winter and my skatepark tolerance really ran out a few months ago, so its good to be back.
april
new shop in winton. im gonna get on it hard out.
this is going to be really fun when i is 12 foot wide and solid.
our jumps still look shit, but they are coming on. this recent rain is helping.
snippets
ive been getting dramatic with the cameraphone
we’ve been making everything turn GOLD
dtown has some new pieces of wood to ride on, which is pretty fun.
and ive done a bit of jump testing.
im having horrible flashbacks to last year when it was all too dry to build then got wet for most of summer. we need the rain so very badly to settle all the digger work properly and so build up verticly. looking at the shovelload’s jumps recently has made me feel both very good and very bad. they are top stuff looking jumps and look like tons on fun, but ours really are not; ours are ugly and bumpy and cold and horrible. And the chill north wind blows you off your bike when you are testing and beats the shit out of you on the chalk and flints. i didnt enjoy that and neither did my mum, she had flashbacks too.
steadycam test dorch video
here is it, new original content on obmx tv! filmed to test my steadycam construction. i think it needs a little more weight but im pretty pleased with it never the less. [ive got some other stuff up my sleeve too] now all i need is some dry weather and some trails to film …

yeah have a peek, try clicking on the thumbnail down to the bottom right in it’s little bubble. also been doing a bit of digging.
log roots like a hog head i think.
build up some landers a bit
better but its still not really wet enough to get proper verticle yet.
if this lip was a program i would describe it as being in alpha stage, in development but not stable. [also somewhat in the wrong place… ]
wet on the ground though, dug out bit of drainage.
well that was boring; our jumps are so ugly. for pretty jumps try the shovelload; for big jumps try prettyshady. but come back soon and try this site for a steadycam webedit, maybe even two videos. but steadcam is exciting, made it yesterday and athough in beta testing stage its pretty rad.
